one of the highlights of my december was the homecoming of my dear friend, jojo. super awaited talaga namin ni mareng beck ang pagdating nya kasi siyempre makukumpleto na naman ang trio namin. for sure, laugh trip and endless chikahan ang mangyayari. hehe
as soon as we learned that she already arrived, we immediately arranged a day to meet up with her. super sikat kasi ng lola, kailangan magpa-sked pa talaga. hehe so we agreed to spend the morning till afternoon of december 23 (friday) with her. we met up at monumento took a cab going to the MRT then boarded the train going to ayala. hindi pa din talaga nagbabago ang kumare namin, super cowboy pa din. she didn't mind commuting here in manila kahit sleek SUV na ang dinadrive niya sa states. hehe
being the one who knew makati among the three of us, i suggested that we check out greenbelt 3. so we surveyed the restos lined up at the second floor strip. we arrived there pretty early and we discovered that some of the restos were not open yet. the only one which opens an hour early was bubba gump. so we decided to just have brunch there because we're all starving already.
after sharing a delighful meal, the girls asked if there's anywhere we can head off next. i told them that there's a videoke place at the third floor. you'd immediately notice a spark in the girls' eyes upon hearing the word "videoke". hehe well, jojo was a videoke champ in the states and beck was the resident singer of SADE way back when. so where does that leave me? i'm their back-up dancer. wehehe :-p so we headed off to red box for our videoke singing spree. we had such a great time singing songs, dancing and goofing around. i just wished that our day together would not end...medyo matatagalan pa kasi bago makauwi uli si jojo dito sa pinas. well, sabi nga namin ni beck, kami na lang magvivisit as kanya sa states. :-)
