no goodbyes, just see you later

last friday, october 7 was my last day of work at webworks. i've been constantly reminding myself that i shoud not feel sad because parting with the people (my officemates) whom I've grown to love is just a temporary thing. there are surely hundreds of opportunities for us to still meet and see each other. in fact, we made a pact to set at least once or twice a month to have get-together dinners or gimiks. though we may not be seeing each other everyday, i'm still looking forward to hearing their stories and sharing more bonding sessions with them. so long, friends. see you soon! :-)
below are snapshots of the fun times i shared with my WWOS team mates and friends:

About Me

Since Friendster and 360 do not have enough space to accommodate my entry for the About Me portion, I'm just posting my entry here in my blog.

- Friends call me Cris. Some mistake it for a guy's name. There was this one instance when my name was actually listed under a boy's section in high school.
- Close friends and family call me Wang. Why? It's a long story.
- I believe that I have my own personal relationship with God.
- I believe in the power of prayers.
- I love my family dearly.
- I turn into a sentimental freak whenever my birthday comes up. I value people who remember and make tampo to those who forget. For my birthday last year, I made an effort to list down all the people who greeted me. That's how sentimental I am.
- I treasure and nurture friendships and relationships. I'm very loyal and would always make myself available for friends.
- I enjoy conversations whether kababawan lang or intellectually-stimulating ones. I like online chatting and talking on the phone with friends.
- I may not always dispense the best advices but I'm an excellent listener.
- I'm a neat freak, a pack rat and an OC. Friends tease me that I'm a mild female version of Monk.
- If I have the time and the money, I'd love to travel and explore new places here and abroad. I would like to be immersed in various countries and cultures.
- I'm allergic to seafoods but can survive on fish alone.
- I can't get by without my daily fix of caffeine despite the palpitations and hyperactivity.
- I'm a frustrated ballerina.
- I'm passionate about my work.
- I take pleasure in the simplest of things.
- I sometimes just like to sit down and observe my surroundings and the people around me.
- I believe that everything happens for a reason.
- I'm not afraid to risk my life on an extreme adventure like bungee-jumping, white water rafting or sky diving but would think twice if I'd risk my heart on love.
- I don't easily get mad but you won't like what you'll see and hear when I reach my saturation point.
- I always try to make a list of things (to do, shopping, resolutions, what-have-yous). Take note, my list must be neatly written and with a checkbox in each line. That's how OC I am.
- I'm a morning person. (Almost always the earliest to arrive in the office.)
- I keep a journal.
- I sometimes get overly-excited about something.
- I laugh at myself especially after giving a corny joke. I'm not afraid to look silly at times.
- I like to give hugs and be hugged.
- I believe that there's a higher purpose for our life's existence.
- I believe that there's a right time for everything.
- I learned not to expect too much. It will happen if it's due to happen.
- I'm a wise spender but would splurge big time if I feel I deserve it.
- I learned that there are only a few select people whom you can truly trust.
- I'm a sucker for pictures. I bring my camera with me wherever.
