here's an account of what transpired this valentine's week...
feb 13 (monday)
since myn, dex and i are sans significant others this valentine season, we have decided to just eat our hearts out and by that i mean eating heartily in a buffet dinner at cricles makati shang. dinaan na lang namin lahat sa kain! hehe :p we agreed to meet at around 6:30 pm after office. myn was a bit worried because she was not able to reserve a table for us. minsan daw kasi kahit regular day, waiting ang mga guests. suki na kasi siya sa circles eh. hehe good thing we arrived early 'cause the place was already packed. buti na lang din at may available table pa for us. our table was strategically located at the far end of the buffet table; madaling mag-traverse through all the dishes since isang direction lang yung ittake namin. hehe grabe! i was super stuffed! my personal favorites were chili chicken, peking duck roast, indian bread with curry dip, fish tempura, salmon sashimi, california maki, dark chocolate mousse and the list goes on an on...
after all the eating, we have decided to take a tour around the hotel. lakad lakad lang para maburn yung ilang calories. hehe we also took advantage of the elegant scenery so nagpicture picture na din kami. :P

feb 14 (tuesday)
started the day like any normal day would...not really expecting anything until at around 11 am, an officemate passed by my cube and told me, "cris, may flowers ka!" i just laughed, shrugged it off and went on with my tasks as i was rushing a deliverable. then the next thing i knew, there was a guy greeting me happy valentine's and handing me a bouquet of flowers. gosh! i can sense that my officemates are all looking at me and some "yiheees!" can be heard. nakakaembarass! when i saw the card, i was super surprised because it came from myn and dex. it was really sweet of them. yun pala, they were planning to give me flowers on my birthday pero di daw nila naasikaso 'cause they were busy that time so they thought of just surprising me on valentine's instead. i was so touched by their gesture. i'm really lucky to have them as my buddies!
the three of us met pala after office and have decided to just spend our valentine's evening by playing badminton. timely din yung badminton game namin dahil nga nag pigout kami the night before. hehe
feb 15 (wednesday)
was supposed to go to a frisbee game with former officemates after office but due to an unavoidable circumstance, wasn't able to go. kung kelan naman prepared na ko to go tsaka naman hindi natuloy. hehe oh well, hindi siguro meant to happen this evening. next time na lang. so i've decided to just go straight home and work on my thesis. was kinda feeling sad for some reason buti na lang ry called. medyo matagal na din kaming hindi nagkakachikahan. was just glad someone kept me company.
feb 16 (thursday)
i was looking forward to this day because our timeout is slated on this day. it is a special day dedicated to all the birthday celebrants for the months of january and february. celebrants get to take a timeout from work and are treated to a free movie with snacks at the glorietta cinemas. super excited ako kasi this is my first timeout tapos madami pang birthday celebrants sa department namin; we agreed to just go to glorietta together. yung iba nga, as early as 2:30 umalis na sa office eh yung movie magsstart at 4:00 pm pa. hindi naman sila masyadong excited?! hehe anyway, i enjoyed the film. steve martin was so funny! his accent was exceptional! wehehe :P
after watching the pink panther, naglibot-libot lang ako sa glorietta. i waited for hazel, jucyn, myn and dex to arrive 'cause we agreed earlier to watch close to you. nagstart lang yun sa biruan namin ni juk sa restroom eh game naman sila so ayun at napa movie marathon tuloy ako ngayong araw na ito. i enjoyed the film as well. siyempre, umaatikabong chikahan after watching the movie; sharing of life experiences ba ito?! hehe :P meron pa nga kaming naging discussion nina hazel and jucyn sa email the following day. may close to you hangover talaga! haha :D
feb 17 (friday)
so so day at the office. met bespren mia over lunch. was just glad she was there.
i miss my brothers!
miss ko na sina pau and lep sobra! kaya nga every time i go home during weekends, i smother them with hugs and kisses. kulang na lang i-shove nila yung face ko away. hehehe :-) kinukulit ko din sila parati by telling them that i love them and that i miss them as in paulit-ulit. they both have this look on their faces kapag kinukulit ko sila nang ganun...yung look na tataas yung kilay and sasabihan ako... "o, ano na namang problema mo, ate?" haha :-)
si lep kasi is my buddy talaga. as in we know each other's secrets. i miss the times when he would pick me up at mc do panay avenue then kkwentuhan ko lang siya about what happened with my day. miss ko din yung kakatok ako sa room nya in the middle of the night to ask him to listen to my heartaches. he doesn't need to say anything, basta lam ko na andun siya and nakikinig siya, okay na ko. i also miss the times when we would goof around lalo na sa car. kapag may song on the radio tapos he would do his crazy interpretation tapos ako naman would grab anything in sight to use it as my microphone then i would sing away. funny talaga! well, ngayon kasi may work na din siya. damn proud of him! he's one of the top performers sa batch nila sa accenture. stage ate ba?! hehe tapos night shift pa yung work nya kaya very limited time din yung interaction namin pag weekends kasi yun lang yung time na he gets to sleep ng matagal. kaya i savor every chikahan and meals spent with him pag weekends.
si pau naman. i fondly call him my buncho paupau pochi! naku, he would kill me kung mabasa niya 'to. hehe :-) he's forever malambing. ang bonding namin eh kapag magmmall, kakain and manonood ng TV. lagi niyang binibigay sa 'kin yung remote. hehe :-) da best din humirit ito! lagi akong tablado kapag hinihiritan ako about my love life. wehehe :-p
haaay! ka-miss talaga sila. sana weekend na ulit para makita ko na ulit sila.
